Like some other books I've reviewed, this story is difficult to rate and review simply due to the nature of it's plot. The FMC is kidnapped and sex trafficked and obviously there is some truth and real world parallels to the plot here, which is devastating. Speaking from the purely fictional parts of this story (and repeating what I wrote in my first review for the first book), I still don't understand the relationship between the two main characters. Again and again we hear about lack of consent and rape and sexual assault but to me, there was no clear difference between the MMC and the others that are clearly villainized (as they should be).  The author tells the reader that the FMC eventually learns to like the sexual advances from the MMC but WHY? When was there a switch between stalking and an actual relationship? I clearly didn't see it. When you write stories about deeply horrific things like this (that have real world parallels), you have to be sensitive, and I don't think this was a sensitive story at all.
