MY TAKE ON THE ACTUAL SYNOPSIS:
Hessa is a Warrior for the Goddess of War & she has been exiled when she gives sanctuary to a man the Goddess tells her to kill.When she runs back to her village, everyone is slaughtered & she is taken by an enemy clan. Feeling like it was the man, Omaskat, who did this to her people, she hunts him down with her Goddesses help but she finds out secrets along the way, the Gods may not be who they say they are...
REVIEW:
The first 100 pages were great! I loved how fast paced everything was going and I loved how much of a badass Hessa was but then the pacing and story just took a nose dive. It got so boring, I found myself caring about the characters less and less and was getting ready to DNF around the 300 page mark, only 100 pages short from finishing. I ended up finishing it on Audio and it still wasn’t really any better. I will not be continuing this series unfortunately.
FINAL RATING: 2.5 OUT OF 5 STARS!
