As an anthology, trying to categorize this book is difficult. Every story touches on a new life in the fictional village of Malgudi and covers every emotion imaginable. Some stories stick with you like a hot oatmeal breakfast, some flit through your thoughts on a breeze. You instantly feel like you've lived a lifetime wandering the streets of Malgudi.
