This was a cute story, but the pacing was way off.

The two love interests meeting at the 50% mark

made the relationship feel rushed and one-dimensional. It almost felt like Sal was more affectionate with Joanie than Clara tbh. Also, for a book with Tea Shop in the name, there is a distressing lack of tea content.

I did like the representation in the novel! Always a fan of asexual romance and a huge proponent for robot romance!
