Rode Hard, Put Up Wet by Lorelei James
4.0

I really love this series so far and I loved Gemma and Cash. Cash was big, strong and it was freaking AWESOME how he took control in the bedroom. I mean, holy hotness, Cowboy! :D I also like how there isn't a ton of angst in this series. don't get me wrong, there is SOME and of course there is some mis-communication, but it isn't OTT and for the most part, the MCs work on working things out. (Thank goodness because some books are too angsty and OTT for me. Sometimes I just want regular, every day stuff and how people deal with things; not emotional roller coasters that leave me dizzy.)

It was nice to revisit the MCs from the first book, and what I can only guess are MCs for future books, as well. The secondary storyline was a nice balance though I did think that Carter was an idiot and a jerk half the time. I'm glad he finally wised up because I was really starting to be disgusted by him. And how could he not KNOW how Macie was going to react?! I mean HELLOOOOO, you dumb moron! I wanted to slap Carter in the face and kick in the you know where for his ass hattery. *sighs* I'm still not sure how I feel about him at the end, but better than I did at the beginning, and I don't hate him, so there's that.

But that subplot aside, I did really enjoy this book. And now it's time to dive into the next in this series though I'm unsure about the age difference between the MCs. Hopefully it all works out!
