Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.

I really liked the Netflix series, but this is so loosely related. I felt so bad for the character Alex in the show, but this author gave me really bad vibes. Things just didn’t add up (lots of indications of lying), it felt embellished, and there was no recognition of personal responsibility even though she made some pretty bad decisions (which is fine to do, but it was always someone else’s fault…?).
