Super super quick read. Still has some signature TJR magic, but I didn’t love the ending. I felt like this was a really interesting story, and I loved the format of telling this through letters. And overall, I felt like the story was really sweet, but the surprise ending was a little off-putting.
But the idea that two spurned spouses would potentially find solace and friendship/love in each other as they navigate discovering their partners’ affairs feels very realistic and the piece thus feels very authentic.
