I have a hit or miss relationship with Stephen King. Some I love; some I can't even finish. I really liked this one but a few things made it fall short of 5 full stars. I LOVED Abra. She's a character with real depth as well as a badass girl heroine. Danny is also a good character as a grown up and his relationships with the other men in the story feel true. I also found funny and inventive that a bunch of old RV travelers are actually horrible vampire like creatures -- be afraid of that old guy in plaid shorts & black socks you see at the national park! But the plot, even with all the King pull to it, feels familiar and a little derivative (eg a big "stand" between good and evil at the end). Maybe that's not fair for horror--to criticize it for being formulaic. But it was and that lessened my enjoyment here.
