Very different and I liked that. Towards the end of the book I found myself skimming because I was getting kind of bored but I finished it. I like that even though the Trylle were living here they still had their own hierarchy and their own rules to follow. That was really interesting to me. It didn't grip me enough to the point that I would read the 2nd one though. But still an interesting view on trolls :)
