This book was on my list for a while, I don’t know why I thought it’d be longer. A fairly quick read, but not one I’d repeat. Chunks of a story about a road trip interrupted by a narcissist pontificating on the meaning of Quality & it’s place/value in life, delivered in various states of mental decline. Not the life-altering book I was told it was; maybe if I’d read it as a teenager or back in the ‘70s it would have been. Now it’s a bit stale.
