Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Radden Keefe

challenging dark emotional hopeful informative sad medium-paced

5.0

As an Irish-American whose family is descendant from Northern Ireland, I didn't know a lot about The Troubles. This book has opened my eyes to the violence, on both sides of the war. The way the author wove the devastating story of Jean McConville through the story was very effective. I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about the conflict. Although, not for the faint of heart or squeamish this is a hauntingly beautiful book. I absolutely loved it.
