A Good Marriage by Jessica Hecht, Stephen King

4.0

I felt like reading some SK after his name popped up on my Twitter timeline when some "genius" tried to insult him and it backfired.

This book has been on my to-read list for so long I finally decided to read it. It was amazing right from the beginning. The story was well written with detailed descriptions of events and timelines in the typical SK fashion. He painted a picture and it came to life within the first few pages .

I felt like I was there with Darcy when she discovered her husband's little secret. You see her wonderful, safe, and loving husband of 20+ years was a murderer. Not the John Wick kind either. He was more of a Ted Bundy.

Mmmmh.

Where do you even start when you make such a discovery? I don't even know. All I know is that this book scared the hell out of me. These kind of stories terrify me more because they are more likely to happen than say a vampire terrorizing my town.
