I love an Emily Henry novel. However, this one fell a little flat for me. I really enjoyed the first half, but after

miles helped Petra move after she broke up with Peter

I started to feel disengaged. It felt like miles and Daphne  kept going in circles around their feelings. The stakes also didn’t feel that high? The read a thon was cute, but it’s hard that that was like the pinnacle moment to bring miles and Daphne together.
