I have read some of Binchy’s books previously and enjoyed them. This book was a slog. I disliked every character except the children. They were the most interesting. The rest of the crew were shallow and dull. The story was boring and the ending was predictable within the first few pages. I kept hoping for something exciting or a plot twist but alas no such luck.
