"When you love someone, you want to make this world look different to them. To give all the ugly stuff meaning, and amplify the good."

A book about authors competing against each other and maybe falling in love? I'm in.

WHAT I LIKED:
1. "Cheekbones that could cut you".
2. I don't get what's the deal with hipbones but okay that sounds attractive to me.
3. Loved the showing of handwritten notes through the windows. Yes to Taylor Swift.
4. I also felt my heart skip a beat with Gus's lines like "I'm in this for the long haul now. You'd better clear your Saturday schedules from here until eternity."
5. Best girl, Shadi.
6. Men written by women are always absolute gems. Why is that?
7. I didn't expect this book to have heavy topics like cancer and divorce but I liked the depth they added to the story.
8. I didn't click much with January coz I'm not a *sunshine girl* myself but I like her nonetheless.

Just one thing I regret is that I wanted more scenes of their bet but the book focused more on the problems in their budding relationship. But oh well, that is a good summery read. I enjoyed it. Onto the next!
