This book was epic and so enthralling - it had me at the edge of my seat & got me out of a very long reading slump. I thoroughly enjoyed the way the story played out and how parts of the mystery were revealed. I also enjoyed how Maya and Naomi’s characters were written with so much depth and layers. The twist at the end was a real surprise - though I found it a bit confusing that Margaret killed Matthew because isn’t she also a St Clair and reliant on her ties to Greystone? . That was one plot hole that I can’t reconcile. But overall, great read!
Graphic: Physical abuse, Toxic relationship, Kidnapping
Moderate: Alcoholism, Bullying, Drug use, Death of parent
