The books was basically Adam writing letters to his doctor. This way Adam narrates the book himself. To be quite honest and I already regret saying this; the movie was better. It felt a little easy. Especcialty the relationship with him and Maya. After like two weeks the were already boyfriend-girlfriend. The book does not have many pages. It took me two days, but you can easily read this book in one day. It was nice seeing that he came to terms with himself and his "imaginary friends".
