Aghghahhahhggggg so grim!

I read sci fi for hope, and this book is supposedly about hope, but it's also about the ultimate inevitability of privatization and wealth inequality and climate change, and suggests that the 99% are doomed to crippling oppression.

I mean, there's a reason that my movie tastes run towards comedy over drama: the real world is awful enough on it's own, so I want my fiction to lift me out of it, not help me imagine how much worse it could be.

If you're the type who loves to listen to sad songs when you're in a sad mood, read this book.
