Blame it on the Mistletoe by Beth Garrod
3.0
3.5✰
this is a cute book! definitely nothing fantastic, but i enjoyed reading something simple and straightforward. :)
the writing was definitely not my favorite. i hated the supposed “modern language” and i found quite a few writing mistakes. the characters were nice, but not super memorable. holly and elle had nice character development though.
i thought the concept was really cool, but personally, i don’t think it was executed incredibly.
i’m sure there’s better books out there (and if you want something with a similar concept, i recommend the movie the princess switch), but if you’re just looking for something simple to read, then this is a good option. <3 *ੈ✩‧₊˚
