Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.
I tried to get past the Christianity, I really did. I have read several Christian self-help books over the years, and it’s usually fine. But this was too much for me.
The ideas and advice here were simply not substantial enough to get past the forced references to God, “the enemy,” and “the war” we’re fighting against said enemy.
For folks looking for a less intense version of Christianity in a book about finding community, maybe try The Life Council. (Not a fave of mine at all, but at least good enough for me to finish.)
