Out on a Limb by Hannah Bonam-Young
5.0
emotional hopeful inspiring
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

I never expected I'd ever give a surprise baby romance 5 stars but I also never imagined that it would be like this.

Out on a Limb is so deeply intimate and charming. Win and Bo have incredible chemistry from the moment they meet. Their banter had me smiling and kicking my feet.

As a rule, I don't enjoy sex scenes early in a book. Generally, I want to actually know the characters and their connection beforehand. Hannah Bonham-Young is incredible because it really felt like I did. For a One Night stand it was deeply intimate and tender which follows them throughout.

I appreciated how tight the narrative is. It follows Win's pregnancy but generally in the context of their relationship. There aren't filler chapters and pregnancy symptoms aren't dwelled on too much.

This was fantastic, Bo is so sweet and romantic and such a huge nerd. Win is so warm and caring. Their love story is all about how healing it is to be cared for and cherished as you are.
