This was my first ever favorite book. I remember reading it back in 3rd grade, and then I reread it in 4th and 5th grade as well. Considering that was over 15 years ago, I figured it was a good time to reread it.
Despite knowing who won the game, I still really enjoyed the book! I had forgotten all of the smaller details, and it was fun going through it all once again.
I’m sure that it’s not a perfect book, but I’ve got too much nostalgia (and reading it while I’m an adult didn’t ruin it for me) to rate it anything else.
