Mine To Love by Natasha Madison is the fourth book in her Southern Wedding series, and the first introduction for me into said series. Having seen other readers rave about the previous books in the series, I knew I had to sign up to the next one to see if I was able to fall in love with it as well. I'm pleased to announce, I did.

Natasha has been an author I've had the pleasure of reading on/off for the last 3-4 years, and this read just called out to me to read. By the burb alone, it had all the hallmarks of a read I knew I was just going to love by the time I finished the last page. Call it a gut feeling, if you will. Also, it's tropes.

✔ Small Town
✔ Surprise Pregnancy/Unplanned Pregnancy
✔ Brother's Best Friend
✔ Fling-To-Love
✔ Undercover Love

Some of the tropes above might not appeal to some readers, but it's been forever and an age since I've read a few and since it was Natasha that was promising all these in this read in the next instalment in this series, there was no hesitation as if I was going to read it or not. I was going to love it, I knew it, but how much I would love it was yet to be determined.

The characters in Mine To Love were very easy to get to know and fall in love with. As someone who is not yet familiar with anyone else or their stories, I quickly got to know the residents of this small town and immediately saw the appeal to get to know them and their stories at a later date. If I'm lucky enough to do so. Natasha writes brilliantly appealing characters, and I look forward to hopefully meeting them again in the last book of the series, which is yet to be released.

The storyline was one that has been done before, but, as with the way of literature, can be done a thousand times over by a thousand authors and be gripping every single time. This is what has happened here. Have I read a small-town, surprise pregnancy romance before? Yes. Will I read one again? Also yes. Mine To Love provided many unique moments, both in terms of characters, events and situations, that made it stand out as a novel I highly recommend even non-lovers of its tropes to read. This is a read that can turn trope haters, into trope lovers. And it's all thanks to the talented woman who created it.

I have, since reading this the first time, gone back and read it two more times. With a re-read, you pick up things you might've missed the first time round and as a bonus, you get to re-live the moments that you loved the most. I certainly did that.

Bravo to Natasha for creating a book that was a welcome back to reading her work. It's great to be back in her world and I very much plan on staying in it for as long as I can. Greatly looking forward to the next book in the series!
