Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda

I do not consider poetry to be one of my passions, and I remember reading some of Neruda's poetry when I was in my early twenties and really liking it, but it must have been the canonized ones that are canon for a reason. I've read two other collections from Neruda recently and either I don't fully understand them or, as I suspect is the case, I just don't particularly enjoy his poetic style. To each their own.
