A lovely and hopeful book written in 2011. I can only wonder where all the women are now…. The book is the story of women in Kabul who find a way to not only survive but thrive under the guidance of one young woman who is determined to take care of her family by starting her own business under the eyes of the Taliban. Inspiring but I do wonder what has happened in the past 10 plus years.
