The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski

Did not finish book. Stopped at 46%.
Poorly translated or poorly written. The intriguing elements ( primarily the setting and polish folklore) take a back seat to the bog standard dark fantasy character drama. But the characters are too flat and the storytelling too abstract to really draw a reader like me in. It honestly just feels half-baked. Perhaps the other books get better but my PTR is too long to waste time slogging through stuff like this.
