My First Five Husbands... And the Ones Who Got Away by Rue McClanahan

5.0

A delightful read! McClanahan is an entertainer on every page. Highly recommend. Some language parts don't age well, but that's the nature of humans.

There's a little shade thrown here and there, but this isn't a burn book. She doesn't even use real names when referring to a few ex-husbands by name. There's a few chapters specifically about Golden Girls towards the end, but the book is really about being a working, mostly theatre, actress and making really bad decision when it comes to love and relationships.
