“Some of us exist just a little too loudly for the comfort of those who would prefer we did not exist at all”

Jennifer Lynn Barnes, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, is a literature genius! I will always love her works and I’m obsessed with this series!

The Brothers Hawthorne based solely on Grayson and Jameson’s storylines. I loved that both storylines followed their fathers/paternal family.

I have always been #TeamJameson but always had a love for Grayson. This book made me fall in love with Grayson so much more! It should the character’s vulnerabilities, his interaction with his sisters and the love for his paternal family! I loved his relationship with Gigi, who is quickly becoming a favourite character of mine and who reminded me of Xander in this book!

Jameson’s storyline of finding his father and then being betrayed but eventually finding familial love with his paternal uncle was everything that we needed to round the series up. The plot twist of the secret being revealed at the end makes me hope that the storyline comes out in future books. And the introduction of the spin-off series was *chef’s kiss*

I look forward to reading the next series and undoubtedly loving the rest of Jennifer Lynn Barnes’ works! 4.5⭐️
