Reread this in preparation for the new movie. Easily my favorite Thor story. Jason Aaron’s long and legendary run starts off so strong that I’m unsure if it ever quite reached the heights of this first arc again. That may be in part due to Esad Ribic, who brings an unparalleled grandeur to each story he touches.
