There are only so many Fonte left for Alessa to choose from and she must before Divorando and the scarabeo descend. It’s her only chance at restoring her peoples faith in her saving the island and everyone on it. Everyone is terrified of dying by her touch so it makes the search difficult. Until she meets Dante her new protector. He just can’t protect her heart from him.
Really liked how there were little phrases at the beginning of each chapter. There were some unexpected points that kept it interesting and I couldn’t stop reading!
