This book is incredible. A must read. It challenges views on women’s issues like young single motherhood, onlyfans, sex workers and motherhood and then also simultaneously challenges literary issues of first v third person, relationship of author/character/reader.
It’s deep, it’s pertinent, it’s current, it’s emotional, it’s lighthearted. I gawfawed, I cried. I cannot recommend it enough. I’ve read a lot of great books so far this year, and figured I’d be unable to pick a favorite for the year-but this one blindsided me and is quickly becoming my stand-out read of 2024.
