Beautifully well written for such a young author. This was a very difficult read given the subject matter (sexual abuse, prostitution, police corruption and abuse to name a few) so not for the faint hearted.
It was absolutely heartbreaking and enraging in equal measures, the see-sawing of my emotions reading it was insane. Was often reading it and thinking, "It can't get any worse, can it?" (Turns page) "Yes, it can".
Not a book you can read for long, need something "lighter" at same time.
It is definitely a story that needs telling, and it was well told, just be prepared to feel a range of emotions (sometimes at the same time) whilst reading.
Wishing the author success with this book and future endeavours, with thanks also to the Pigeonhole for the opportunity.
