Great addition to the world of Maradine. The side of the city we get to see here, is somewhat similar to what we saw in Thorn of Dentonhill, altough much farther in detail, when it comes to the streets.
Definitly more main characters than the first 2 books, yet Maresca managed to give the majority of them quite good depth and one can see some intanglement between the series' coming.
Especially at the end there where a few really good, and somewhat expected twist. (The kind you think you see coming, but then are surprised, they actually happen.)
