The Inheritors by William Golding

3.0

Still hard to determine what I really think of this book. I really like the idea of the last tribe of Neanderthals encountering homo sapiens for the first time, but the way it was written makes it rather difficult to know what was going on half the time. It is narrated by Lok, who isn't the brightest one of the group. They encounter the humans, who seem to take their young ones and they try and retrieve them. It is certainly not poorly written, but just a bit difficult to ascertain on what exactly they are explaining.
