i've forgotten how much of a comedic relief Rick's books are I love those parts. there were some good messages that were portrayed through this book too, on a more serious note. however, I hate to say this but i sadly think I'm outgrowing his books bc although i LOVED Percy Jackson when I was a middle schooler I think now I found myself wanting to quickly finish this book and started skimming when I was nearing the final 70% progress mark :(
