This book could have been shorter. It had a few chapters that just repeated themselves, as if the author was trying to fill pages and had the FMC describing the same thing using different words. It was like she pulled out a thesaurus and looked up seven different ways to say "he made her feel safe."

Besides that, the story had a better ending than I thought it would.
