The Secret Adversary
by Agatha Christie
I finished this early this morning before trying to get some sleep. I don't recall Dame Agatha being as funny as I am finding her now. I did read many of her stories when I was much younger, so perhaps it is a growing up thing.
I quite liked this first Tommy and Tuppence tale, I recall liking N or M a lot (many books from now) and that was a T & T tale as well. The two characters balance each other out quite well. I also appreciate that Dame Agatha wrote two very strong women characters, who while they had their men around them, took damn good care of themselves. 1920's women were a fiery bunch.
