I recommend this sequel if you like:
-College era romance books
-Multiple POV
-Romance and drama
First of all, I must say I loved being in the heads of and reading chapters from the two main characters. What a treat to have multiple points of view. It really helped me understand Axel and his actions more and know for sure that his feelings for Tate are true.
We get to understand a bit of Axel’s past and situations that have shaped him into the guy he is today. I really felt for him due to the experiences he had went through as a child. Then running into his dad after an extended period apart could not have been easy. It was interesting to read how Axel and his family approached this hurdle.
How adorable are Tate and Axel together (when the drama isn’t getting in the way)! Their love for each other is clear and I enjoyed watching their journey together. Not to mention that anniversary celebration!
Tate is getting stronger and putting her past behind her. Some hurdles are thrown her way which test not only her but her relationships with others. It was so interesting to read what was going on in Tate’s mind when Connor showed up and it gave me a better understanding of others who would be going through something similar in regards to Complex-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I really enjoyed the girl power, positive girl friendships and the development between Tate and Nicole.
Trinity’s writing has a way of pulling you in to these character's lives and making you feel like you are a part of it. Each chapter was like a mini cliff-hanger, you just want to keep reading on. You even become invested in side characters and their mini storylines too. There was always plenty of drama and excitement to keep me hooked and amazing character development. Well done Trinity on another 5 star book!
