This is my favourite romance book, but I think I have a very specific taste.
This book is so full of heart and hope and feelings (so many feelings!!!). It had me both grinning and tearing up. I love Ben and Alexei so much, they're really well written charicters and I got so attached to them. And the romance!! I appreciated the way things started of so awkward between them, and as they got more comfortable around each other they started to open up to each other, it felt like such a natural progression to me. I also liked that their relationship wasnt perfect, so they worked on it. And their individual charicter developmen was so well writen. They're the type of charicters that just fit together so well. I love the fact that Alexei is autistic, I related to him in that way so much and its just lovely to read about an autistic main charicter. I thought the way homophobia, especially from family, felt so real. I also actually really liked the third act conflict, as it allowed them to grow as people, and be ready to be in a relationship with each other, if that makes sense?
But yeah, I love this book and these charicters.
