The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels

challenging hopeful informative inspiring reflective fast-paced

5.0

I was pleasantly surprised by this pamphlet. It was fast-paced and easy to read. I had read excerpts of this for one of my poli. Sci. classes in university, but not having the pressure of deadlines and assignments allowed me to enjoy it on a whole new level.

I found it amazing that someone alive hundreds of years ago predicted almost exactly where our economical system was headed. Although I do not agree with some of the ideologies, it can't be denied that the criticism of capitalism is thorough, well researched and founded. Usually, I avoid non-fiction, but The Manifesto was a great way to start reading this genre at my own pace and for my own pleasure
