Satan's Affair by H.D. Carlton

2.0

Found this book recently, and I have to admit it left me too confused to be intrigued. I've been interested in Sibby's story from all those booktok hypes even before I knew of this series. A bloodthirsty, vengeful FMC with her twisted companions on a mission to rid the world of evil throughout a traveling carnival, this entire plot felt too fresh; it was almost easy to like but it was just that. There were some parts I couldn't visualize, and it diminished a lot of my reading experience. I didn't enjoy it as much as I was hoping, but the ending got to me a little too hard for me to just walk away. No jokes; I desperately need answers.
