Cunning Folk by Adam L.G. Nevill

challenging dark mysterious tense slow-paced

3.0

This is the second Adam Nevill story I've read recently and I'm a bit sad to say this one isn't as entertaining as I expected. It leaves quite a few gaps in the story about Tom and his family moving into an old house near the woods. This house is not haunted, but cursed, and it might've been my head, but the origins of it were pretty vague. The first part was also pretty slow, but when the pacing finally picked up there was quite a nice amount of tension!
