WHAT A BOOK THE IMAGERY THE WRITING I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT
oh my god i can't even begin explaining how much i loved the desi rep
one of the only ways i can describe this book is a romcom, such a mood lifter and easy read
the banter and relationship between kareena and prem were so soso cute
**kinda spoilers:
i felt like this book was very realistic, the way older desi women are treated and how the men are put on pedestals. i really like how that was addressed, i get that people wanted to see things being resolved (with her family) but like when its a societal thing its not that simple :(
i do agree tho that the characters didn't have too much depth but honestly i wasn't expecting THAT much from a romcom
and all the comments saying the book was cringe are true to a certain extent but lets not act like all being cringe is exclusive to a desi romcom pls🙄🙄
