I will preface this by being honest, I haven't read much dark romance/suspense but I decided to give this one a go.
I adored the characters, Grant in particular is a delicious lead. The dark themes didn't feel extraneous, the story felt cohesive.
The wrap up of the dangerous element felt off to me. Like it just resolved in a way that shortened that tension and felt too convenient. Maybe though that is common, I just wasn't expecting it.
