Ya know the first time I read this book it took me two months to finish it, and while I was enthralled, I felt like my brain was scrambled most of the time. Throughout this reread I’ve just wanted to smack myself upside the head for that old thought. I always thought this was the weakest installment, and now I realized that each of them shine in their own unique way. The whole end of this installment destroyed me, and I’m pounding on the glass that’s keeping me from The Mask Falling. A brutal, epic book.
Also is it too American of me to hope that the free world power trying to take down Scion is the U.S. and maybe even more so all of Northern America? Cause that’s what I’m hoping.
