A cute cozy fantasy is always a joy when you learn it's the first one in a series of standalone and you'll meet the characters again, even if only briefly!

This story is very cute, boty characters adorable and easy to fall in love with. Nettie and Rowena seem so different from each other and yet they share a melancholy, a loneliness that brings them together.
I absolutely loved the sweet atmosphere of the cafe with the baking and the tea, how both girls learn to know one another and themselves, because this story is also a self discovery and heading for the two of them.
We have adorable companions that are elementals in form of cute animals, we have drama between the witches and the werewolves and we have secrets.

Perfect for the end of summer when all you want is cosy up in fluffy sweaters with a cup of chai tea a'd everything pumpkin spice
