Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
2.0

Didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The writing and dialogue was rather tedious and boring and the battle games were too repetitive. It felt like I was re-reading the same boring thing for 300 pages. I actually enjoyed the last thirty pages when he became the Speaker for the Dead. Some have criticized it as being too New Age, but I liked the idea of redemption not only for our own actions, but ultimately sometimes also for the actions of others. Just like the buggers, I think this book's potentially interesting plot and thought-provoking ideas were victims of the Author's writing.
