This was a cute friends to lovers rom-com. Eli is dumped by his girlfriend of 4 months as she is leaving the country. Leah accidentally overheard the conversation of these 2 strangers.
Eli becomes obsessed with changing to win back his ex. His family is also trying to help him with this makeover even though they don’t like her….which is weird.
Eli and his family meet Leah and she starts to become friends with them and help with their project.
Overall I liked it but Eli annoyed me at how obsessed he was with his ex and how long it took for him to realize he liked Leah. His family and the makeover was a bit much. Overall I liked Leah’s character but Eli not so much.
