I am really enjoying this series! The cool thing about reading them in order is seeing the other characters' relationships from the previous one coming back up - Ada makes friends with Emmy from the previous book, and makes out with Wes for the first time in Brooks' bar, and Emmy *spoiler* gets engaged at the end of this one, and also I liked Ada a lot. Ada was abandoned by her controlling ex-husband, and has a lot of trauma around that, but she works on letting that go over the course of the book - even as she recognizes that things are different with Wes and still feels the impulse to run away. Also, Wes has been diagnosed with depression.
Minor: Mental illness, Abandonment
