Yuri & the Yeti: A Monster Love Story by Daphne Green, Daphne Green
5.0
This is legitimately a new favorite of mine. This is a short book, under 100 pages, so I won’t format this review as I do for longer books. However this has size difference, monster and human, and a whole heap of hurt/comfort. This short made me cry, it made me laugh, it made me smile — this author is truly amazing to be able to craft a story that I just felt so many emotions towards!
This is not a steamy monsterfucking book. This is a sweet beauty and the beast love story, happening to be Yuri and the Yeti instead. I liked the sex scene we got and I think honestly the story played out beautifully with the lack of sex. I love seeing these characters bond beyond just attractiveness to one another. The pacing was fast in terms of actual time in the book, but it all made sense. It was just so good. There was so many cuddles! Seriously, read it!
